HOWTO : Burp Suite on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Install

sudo apt-get install curl default-jre

cd ~
mkdir arsenal
cd arsenal
mkdir burpsuite
cd burpsuite
curl https://portswigger.net/DownloadUpdate.ashx?Product=Free -o burpsuite_free.jar
java -jar -Xmx1024m burpsuite_free.jar


Update/Upgrade

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

cd ~/arsenal/burpsuite
rm burpsuite_free.jar
curl https://portswigger.net/DownloadUpdate.ashx?Product=Free -o burpsuite_free.jar
